Anna O' Brien - Soprano Saxophone, Alto Saxophone, Clarinet, Flute & Piccolo

Anna gained a degree in music from the Colchester Institute and currently works as a woodwind teacher/ freelance musician in Berkshire. She teaches for the Berkshire Young Musicians Trust and directs the county ensemble. Since graduating, she has worked with big bands, well known vocalists, on cruise ships and has been featured playing saxophone with the Slough Philharmonic Orchestra. Anna plays for many musical theatre productions in London and Berkshire.

Elspeth Cook - Alto Saxophone, Soprano Saxophone, Clarinet, Flute & Piccolo

Elspeth studied the clarinet with Julian Farrell at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, and at City University, London. As well as performing with A Good Reed, she is the clarinettist with the wind trio, Aubade, and works as a clarinet, saxophone and flute player for musical theatre, opera productions and orchestral concerts. As a soloist, her concerto performances have included Finzi, Mozart, Malcolm Arnold and Weber. She teaches clarinet and saxophone and has recently completed a Masters Degree in Music Education.

Natasha Cuevas - Tenor Saxophone, Eb, Bb & Bass Clarinets, Flute & Piccolo

Natasha read music at York University and currently performs in a variety of music ensembles, ranging from playing bass clarinet with Surrey Philharmonic Orchestra to musical theatre productions. Over the last year these have included West Side Story, Anything Goes, and Cabaret to name just a few. Natasha is also a busy clarinet, flute and saxophone teacher and directs the North Surrey Clarinet Choir. She tutors the woodwind section for one of Britain's leading youth orchestras- the Surrey County Youth Orchestra. She is a diverse doubler and is proud to play the most number of instruments in the quartet!


Andrea Morris - Baritone Saxophone, Clarinet, Bass Clarinet, Flute & Piccolo

Andrea was born in London and started playing the saxophone at the age of 12 and took up the clarinet and flute a few years later. She studied with Ian Haysted before embarking on a professional career as a freelance musician and teacher. As a student she performed the Guilhaud Saxophone Concerto in London and the Czech Republic. Andrea has been featured on a live radio and internet broadcast for Jazz Radio Berlin. As well as running A Good Reed, she plays lead alto saxophone for the 'Swing is the King' Jazz Orchestra and has deputised on the touring production of West End hit show 'Dancing in the Streets'.
